macOS Write For Us
macOS is a branded visual operating system developed and marketed by Apple in 2001. It is the central operating system for Mac computers from Apple. In the desktop, laptop and home computer market, and after the use of the Web, it is the second most usually used desktop operating system after Windows NT.
macOS replaced the classic Mac OS, a Macintosh operating system with nine versions from 1984 to 1999. Meanwhile, Apple co-founder Steve Jobs left Apple and founded another company, NeXT, to develop the NeXT STEP platform, which Apple later took to form the base of macOS.
The first desktop type, Mac OS X 10.0, was released in March 2001, the first update, 10.1, was followed in the same year. Mac OS X versions 10.5 Leopard and later are UNIX 03 certified. Apple’s mobile operating system, iOS, is considered a variant of macOS.
An essential part of the original branding identity of macOS was the use of the Roman numeral X, which is pronounced “ten” on Mac OS X and also on the iPhone X, and the designation of the code of each publication according to the types. Big cats or places in California. 16] Apple edited the name to “OS X” in 2012 and changed it to “macOS” in 2016 to match the branding of other Apple operating systems, iOS, watch OS, and tv OS. After sixteen different macOS 10, macOS Big Sur was introduced in version 11 in 2020 and macOS Monterey in version 12 in 2021.
macOS has supported three main processor architectures, starting with PowerPC-based Macs in 1999. In 2006, Apple moved to the Intel architecture with a line of Macs equipped with Intel Core processors. In 2020, Apple began the transition from Apple silicon, using 64-bit ARM-based Apple M1 processors in newer Mac computers.
